2024 Rosé of Pinot Noir

The aromas are that of strawberry and watermelon, with a pleasant floral note.  The flavors are similar with a crisp mid palate and a touch of natural sweetness to finish it off.

"
The palest possible copper color, yet deceptively lush, this splendid rosé uses estate-grown fruit ripened to a brix level seen more often for regular Pinot Noir. Rich strawberry and peach fruit flavors abound, buttressed by tangy citrus and rounded off with a light hint of residual sugar. Lovely bottle start to finish." 93 Points - Paul Gregutt's NW Wine Guide

2022 Bull's Blend

This blend of red wine comes from different parts of the Columbia Valley in Washington state. The wine is a blend of 50% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Cabernet Franc. Aged in French oak barrels, this rich red wine exhibits dark fruit aromas with earth tones along with a slight scent of vanilla, all combining with flavors of blackberry and plum that coat the mouth with structured tannins.

“A Bordeaux-style blend, half Merlot, one third Cab Sauv and the rest Cab Franc from a number of unspecified Columbia valley sites. It doesn’t have the power that the 14.7% abv might suggest, but it’s balanced and flavorful, medium in body and length, with appealing barrel toast and spice throughout. Drink now and over the next three or four years. 90 Points” - Paul Gregutt’s NW Wine Guide

2023 La Colina Pinot Noir

A well-known vineyard in the hills of Dundee called La Colina, “The Hill”. A very early harvest for this site, September 14th. The grapes were destemmed and cold soaked for 48 hours before being inoculated. After what seemed like the perfect fermentation the wine was pressed, settled, then put to bed in 50% new French oak barrels. The resulting wine has kitchen spice aromas like white pepper along with notes of black cherries and rich raspberry flavors. The pallet is soft and silky with a lasting finish.

"Spicy, toasty aromas open into a softly seductive wine with silky flavors of berries and chocolate. It’s definitely showing the impact of 50% new French oak, in which it rested for 21 months. That said it might need another year in bottle before it feels fully integrated. Nonetheless it drinks well already, especially if you are fond of those barrel flavors, lightly tipped with citrus." 92 Points - Paul Gregutt's NW Wine Guide

2023 Winemaker's Cuvée Pinot Noir

The 2023 Cuvée Pinot Noir is a blend of our Estate finest, selected from a group of barrels composed of different clones and cooperage. After initial 14 months of aging separately, our winemaker carefully tasted and selected this special blend of barrels. Following selection, the barrels were all blended as one to make the Cuvée, and returned to barrels for 6 more months of aging.

“This is a barrel selection blend, recently bottled and still pulling itself together. You can sense the depth and admire the texture, but there remains some bottle shock that keeps it compact and tight through the finish. With a full day’s aeration it shows more of its muscular frame, fills out the black fruits and charges into a full-bodied, tannic finish with trailing notes of espresso, black tea and chocolate. 93 Points” - Paul Gregutt’s NW Wine Guide

2023 Tempranillo

Sourced from a Yellowbird vineyard in Walla Walla, Washington, on a southern facing slope on the east side of town.  After a 2 week fermentation and light pressing the wine went into a series of barrels, both French and American oak. Aged in a cool cellar the wine developed some fascinating aromas of cedar and spices alongside a depth of dark fruits.  The palate has dark fruit flavors and spices with expressive tannins and a long finish.

“The fruit comes from the Yellowbird vineyard in the Mill Creek foothills, home to some of the top sites in the eastern Walla Walla valley. Oregon winemaker Jason Bull does a fine job with it. The young acids are tart, almost lemony, and the cedary barrel flavors follow 20 months of aging, with some American oak in the mix. Young, sharp and brassy; the tangy berry fruit needs more time to share space with the barrels, but there is clearly good material to work with. 92 Points” -Paul Gregutt’s NW Wine Guide
