2024 Rosé of Pinot Noir

The fruit for this Pinot Noir Rosé was picked from our estate vineyard.  The clone selection was 60% Dijon clone 114 and 40% 115. The two clones, picked on different days, were carefully hand sorted before being destemmed and cold soaked for about six hours before we gently pressed the juice off the skin. After an overnight settling of the juice the yeast was added and a 55-day fermentation ensued. The aromas are that of strawberry and watermelon, with a pleasant floral note.  The flavors are similar with a crisp mid palate and a touch of natural sweetness to finish it off.
