2023 Rosé of Pinot Noir
The fruit for this Pinot Noir Rosé was picked from our estate vineyard. The clone selection was 55% Wadenswil and 45% clone 777. The fruit was all carefully hand sorted before being destemmed and cold soaked for about six hours before pressing the juice off the skins and adding yeast. Fermented cold for almost 60 days, the wine was fermented just shy of dryness. The aromas are that of strawberry and watermelon, with a hint of rose petals that coat the senses. The flavors are identical with a crisp mid palate and a touch of natural sweetness to finish it off.
