2020 Pinot Noir Yamhill-Carlton
Harvested the first week of October the grapes were destemmed and cold soaked for 48 hours before being inoculated. After what seemed like the perfect fermentation the wine was pressed, settled, then put to bed in French oak barrels (1/3 new oak) for nearly 21 months.
With the grapes for this Pinot Noir coming from a local vineyard in Yamhill-Carlton, this wine has notes of bright cherry, strawberry, earth, minerality, & a touch of French oak.

"This wine’s cherry aroma is so rich, it reminded me of amaro-soaked Amarena cherries. There’s also an intriguing earthy and floral note that combines marigolds and oregano. The palate features darker blackberry fruit, with traces of lemon and salted caramel." 89 Points - Michael Alberty, Wine Enthusiast
